48hr Film Projects

Actor/writer/director

Our award-winning short films have played in film festivals all over the world.

We love to share what we have learned while making films  through the 48hour Film Project!

Tracey B Wilson directing and starring in the award winning short film "Flying Monkeys." 48 Hour Films, Buffalo

Giving new meaning to shooting "Gorilla style."

Actor/director/co-writer, "Flying Monkeys"

If you want one of the greatest creative rushes of your life, join a team for the 48 Hour Film Project!  You show up on a Friday with NO IDEA what type of film you are going to make, are given a set of mandatory elements, and pick your genre out of a hat. Then, you have 48 hours to write, shoot, and edit! By Sunday evening, all the teams are in a movie theatre watching your films on the big screen. Exhilairating! It is truly an amazing exercise in making the biggest, boldest, most creative choices you can, in the shortest amount of time possible!

I have been working with the same core team of incredible filmmakers for the past several years, Our films have won awards for acting, directing, writing, cinematography, editing, and "use of element" awards. All six films below have also been awarded "Audience Favorite."

Watching these films will give you an excellent look into my voice as an artist, and my belief in the human spirit.

As a 48hr Film Project alum, I love to keep the energy going by cheering on fellow filmmakers as host of the Buffalo awards show, and live stream red carpet!
